VIN DE FRANCE
Have you already tried Shi Fu Mi?
There’s also an element of fun:
A sprightly, satisfying red, which comes from Anne Collard’s Grenaches. A fun introduction for her Côtes du Rhône range, positioned as a Vin de France as it falls outside the established standards of this prestigious terroir.
Rock:
The stony soils that forge the identity of our wines.
Paper:
The Grenache grape variety in its most evident expression.
Scissors:
The vineyard tasks that determine the balance of the wine.
Have you already played Shi Fu Mi?
It’s as easy as ABC!
The two players begin by counting (in Japanese)
«Shi…Fu…Mi !»
and, on 3, each player forms one of the following 3 symbols with their hand :
Each symbol has the upper hand over one of the others but can lose against another:
The rock crushes the scissors
The scissors cut the paper
The paper covers the rock
If the 2 players have chosen the same symbol, the round is played again.
Nearly 70% 'Galets roulés' (rounded pebbles) sit on filtering sands and deep clay where the vines draw up coolness and moisture.
90% Grenache / 8% Syrah (also known as Shiraz) / 2% Mourvèdre (Monastrell in Spanish)
The vine-growing and wine-making processes are Organic and Demeter certified, officially as of the 2022 vintage. Short maceration (about 1 week). Aged for 10 months in a concrete and stainless-steel tank. Minimum addition of sulfites before bottling.
This cool oasis is blessed by an early morning mist owing to the nearby confluence of the Rhône and Gardon rivers. It is also well aired by the cold, dry northerly wind, the Mistral, which keeps it healthy.
Juicy and supple on fresh aromas of damson plum, blood orange and lilac. A lively finish with sassy tannins.
Drinks with friends, your go-to savory loaf recipe and nibbles of all sorts.
Depth of flavor from the old vines in Côtes du Rhône Villages.
Indulgent fruit with delightful mineral hints.
